About this course

Drawing from the live model is an important part of learning to become a draughtsman, but what happens when there is no model and you have ideas that need realizing quickly and accurately and all you have is your sketchbook?

This is where the you need to have a way of drawing the figure from your head.
This course aims to equip you with a framework that will allow you to quickly and accurately draw the figure from imagination, from any point of view and in any perspective you chose.
You will learn a method of thinking about the figure that will enable you to invent them in your sketchbook with relative ease, the aim being that you will be able to take this knowledge and start to plan out your own figure compositions for further work.
Dont restrict your creativity to depending on the model and the studio, learn to free up figure drawing and create them from your head.

Materials are not provided so please view the materials page. We are developing a starter painting pack which we hope to have ready before the course commences and no doubt we will have some back up supplies which you will be able to purchase through LARA if you forget anything.
